MiaCorsa
A free, private run tracker by Asymptoticsolutions LLC
Open MiaCorsa, wait for GPS Good, and tap Start. You can lock your phone: the run keeps recording, and your time and distance appear on the lock screen. Tap Pause to stop the clock, and Finish to save or discard the run.
MiaCorsa needs location access to record runs. If you turned it off, go to Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services › MiaCorsa and choose While Using the App.
If time and distance don't appear on your lock screen during a run, check Settings › MiaCorsa › Live Activities.
At every split MiaCorsa tells you your distance, time and pace, also with the phone locked; music is lowered while it speaks. Choose how often (every 0.5, 1, 2 or 5 km or miles) and what it says in Settings (the gear on History or Stats) › Voice Feedback, or turn it off there. Test Voice plays a sample. If you hear nothing, check that your phone isn't muted and the media volume is up.
MiaCorsa works with Bluetooth chest straps that use the standard heart-rate service, such as the Wahoo TICKR. Put the strap on, then turn on Settings › Heart Rate › Heart Rate Strap and allow Bluetooth: MiaCorsa finds the strap, also when it's already connected in iPhone Settings › Bluetooth. During a run you see your heart rate and zone, and hear them at every split. Set your Max Heart Rate there too; the five zones are shares of it (a common estimate is 220 minus your age). If no reading appears, wet the strap's sensor pads and make sure no other app or device is connected to it.
Open MiaCorsa on your watch and tap Start. Swipe right for Pause and Finish. Saved runs appear in History on your iPhone the next time your phone and watch are connected. The watch app is optional.
In History, tap the share button to export all runs as a CSV file. In a run's detail screen, tap the share button to export its route point by point.
